Teat Warts
Teat warts are caused by several strains of bovine papilloma virus (BPV). Animals are infected by direct contact with other infected animals or contaminated milking and handling equipment. Depending on the strain of BPV, warts may remain on the teats anywhere from as little as one month to over a year.
